  • Course Description:

    This course provides students with a general introduction, morphological and histological structure of fungi, fungal growth and nutrition. It also classifies fungi into groups. In addition, it includes the importance of fungi.

     

  • Course Main Objective:
    1. To describe fungi from a morphological, structural and fungal growth and nutrition.
    2. To explain different divisions; Myxomycetes, Mastigomycetes, Zygomycetes, Ascomycetes, Deuteromycetes and Basidiomycetes.
    3. To illustrate biological activities and Economical importance of Fungi.
