  • Course Description:

    The course is a continuation of Plant Taxonomy (1), providing more characteristic to identify plant species including Anatomy, Embryology, Palynology, chemotaxonomy and molecular taxonomy.

     

  • Course Main Objective:
  1. Developing an understanding of plant classification and learning how current concepts were formed.
  2.  Provide information in grouping and identifying plant species.
  3.  Introduce students to many fundamental principles and current techniques in modern taxonomy including Chemotaxonomy, Palynology and molecular phylogeny
