  • Course Description:

    Study the physiology of the insects’ physiological systems and mechanism of action. This includes integument and muscle, respiratory and circulatory systems and the associated tissues, nutrition, digestion, metabolism and excretion, growth and development.

     

  • Course Main Objective:

    The course aims to: Introduce the student to the physiology of different organs such as respiration, digestion and endocrine system in insects. Also, the bioenergetics of flight muscles.
