• Course Description:

  This course provides the students with the necessary knowledge about the insect fauna present in Saudi Arabia and related aspects, such as insect pests of medical, agriculture, stored grain, and veterinary importance. It includes laboratory investigation to learn to use the different equipment for analyzing and controlling of the pests.

   

• Course Main Objective:
  1. Identify the diversity and classification of insect fauna present in Saudi Arabia and will learn the laboratory safety, esthetical and mortal instruction
  2. Students will learn the formulation of the insecticides and application of the insecticidal equipment
  3. Recognize the effects of the environment on the insect fauna including medicinal and veterinary pests
